Two words: Big Band.  My favorite era of music was back before my time: in the early 30′s on into the 40′s.  It was a far simpler time for the art of music compared to what else you’ll see on my site, and for that reason it’s the best.  This music is so carefree and pure, just like my grandparents.  What’s more to love?

Benny Goodman was a shining example of the big band genre.  Just hear the pop and fizzle from that vinyl record!

Glenn Miller is another reason for me to be happy.
